So picking up where I left off. These start on the way back home. We stopped off at a Denali view spot which had a little hiking area so we walked around at checked the place out.
Logan said he could see bears!

Once we got home Logan pulled out the bike and wanted to learn to ride his bike without training wheels. So Daddy took them off and tried to teach him how. I guess he's not quite ready because he just could not get that balance thing down! I'm just proud of him for trying! He did keep it up for a few seconds at a time...here he is right before a fall!
Aaron took the boys out for a ride...they were blazing their own trail!
The day he left was pretty emotional. We got up and took the 4-wheeler out. Logan wanted one last ride before Daddy headed off. We got back and lazed around together. Aaron and I both had that sick feeling in our stomach. Not only were we both dreading the goodbye we were both worried about how Logan would react. We drove him to the airport and walked him to the gate. They boarded pretty quickly and then just sat in the plane. The boys and I watched from the window and then headed to the car to watch the plane take off. Logan refused to leave until the plane left. He was pretty upset when I didn't keep following the plane but he's doing good now. He misses Daddy but I just keep reminding him that this time will be A LOT shorter than the last time!
