Christmas Morning

Christmas morning ended up being pretty nice. Every year Aaron is the first to wake up. I swear he gets more excited about Christmas morning than kids do. Even before Logan was old enough to really enjoy Christmas Aaron would have me, and who ever else was in the house with us, up and ready to open presents as early as he could get himself up. And this year turned out to be no different. The phone rang at 7:30AM and it was Aaron wanting to know if we had opened presents yet. I told him no that both boys and me were still sleeping. So he tells me to get them up! I walk into their room to find Lane standing up in bed and Logan was slowly waking up. I'm guessing the phone woke them up. Logan's first question was, "Did Santa come to my house?" I told him I didn't know but he would have to go check. Before he ran downstairs I came down and started the camcorder so that Aaron would be able to watch the whole thing later. So we all came downstairs together...with Aaron with us on the phone. We opened presents and I relayed to Aaron what was going on. It wasn't as nice as it would have been having him here but it was the best it could possibly have been considering the situation. Here a few of my favorite pictures. Neither of my boys is too sure which toy to play so they've been going back and forth all day!

This is when Logan opened his Nintendo DS. Can you tell he's excited! He's been waiting this for a while...One of his cheapest toy yet one of his favorite...he calls it his Stryker (which is the vehicle Aaron rides on for work)...
Lane playing with his Crazy Legs Learning Bug...this thing is pretty cute! Logan loves playing his guitar...I really hope I can find someone to teach him how to play. He loves music!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. We are going to head over to the neighbor's house to have Christmas dinner. I can't wait, I'm starving!!!!!
