End of another week...

Sleeping is so hard when it's so bright and sunny outside!!! I stay up way to late! Yesterday the boys and I were super lazy. We didn't leave the house until almost 5 and that was only to drop off dinner to a family who just welcomed a little blessing into the world and to go to Barnes and Noble. I listen to Rick and Bubba...two talk radio guys who are based in Bama...I've been listening to them for years so I love that I still get to hear them up here...I almost feel like I'm back home during my drive to work! Lately they have been talking about their new book. Those two "sexiest fat men alive" always make me laugh so hard in the morning that I'm sure the people next to me at stop lights think I've completely lost my mind. It's a great way to start the day! Logan will even sing their little "Rick and Bubba, Rick and Bubba" song when it comes on. I really wanted to check the book out so I picked it up. It's called Rick and Bubba's Guide To The Almost Nearly Perfect Marriage. I started reading it last night and it literally made me laugh out loud. You should check it out! Aaron got to call yesterday. I guess next to having him here...hearing is voice is the next best anniversary gift I could ask for. He was doing good and in a good mood. I know he is itching to start his trip home. He's already started mailing stuff back home so that is a great sign that the end of the deployment is drawing near. I haven't been talking to much about our moving dates just because with the Army things can always change. It really drives me crazy because nothing is ever for sure. But right now they are saying that we should be able to start our move home around the 1st of December! It will be crazy hectic because we want to buy a house and get moved in before Christmas. We are going to try to visit family during the move time so hopefully we will be seeing everyone before the end of the year! That is such an awesome feeling and long overdue!!!!!! We miss you all so much!

Today the boys let me sleep in...to almost 10:00. Of course this would have been so great yesterday but today I had to jump out of bed and rush to get dressed for church. We made it only 10 minutes late. After church we went to the commissary to pick up extra diapers, wipes, and diaper rash cream to take to Lane's school. I'm a little nervous about tomorrow just because I know it will be a stressful day for Lane but I really think he will enjoy it. I know he's going to love playing with kids his age. It will be good for him too. His teachers will have to watch out...he can be a handful. Today while we were eating lunch he felt the need to do this...
Yes that is ketchup. He did so good at first. Very neatly dunking his chicken in the ketchup. Then the next time I looked at him it was all over his hands. Then he rubs his hands together as you would when you put lotion on...and then rubs it in hair. I have no idea what he was thinking but he did this a couple of time and then he was done. Then tonight while I was in the shower I notice a little movement outside the curtain. When I peeked around the side I find Lane with the toilet lid open, hand in the water. Before I could say anything he rubs the toilet water on his face. I yelled at him to stop but he did it again before I could get to him. He just laughed and then ran off. Thankfully the toilet had "clean" water in it. Not sure that is really what you could call any toilet water. He is really a mess!
Amy and kiddos came over for dinner tonight. She called right after I started the grill so I just invited them over. We grilled hamburgers. They were so tasty! Amy then went and picked us up some ice cream. She was having a pregnancy craving. Her hubby will be home very soon and though I hate to wish her time with him away....once he is on his way Aaron is will be on his way here! In just over two weeks Aaron will be on his way here. I think it's pretty safe to say that in 3 weeks...21 days...I will sitting right next to the most wonderful man in the world...my hubby!!!!
