Hair Do!

So today I got a new haircut. I've been waiting for a couple of weeks to do this but finally the day arrived. I was so excited and even more excited after I got it cut (and colored) and fell in love with the new do. I do admit that it is taking some getting use to. Every time I see myself in a mirror I feel like I'm wearing a wig. But first I want to share this picture of Lane since we are talking about hair. This picture is from yesterday. His little curls were looking all crazy and I just couldn't resist. It won't be too much longer and these baby curls will be gone. He's going to look so different with a big boy hair cut.

I haven't had bangs since 4th grade. I'm so excited and feel so "stylish!" You can't tell in this picture but out in the sun there is a shimmer of red in my hair. It's amazing the boost that a new look can give a girl! I just hope that Aaron likes it.

While I got the haircut Lane stayed with Amy. After I was done I picked Logan up from school and then we headed to Amy's as well. When I picked up Logan he looked at me with this funny grin on his face and told me "mom you look funny!" Lane has been so tired since I picked him up that I'm not sure if he's noticed anything is different. He hasn't had a nap at all today.

I did get everything situated for Lane to start school on Monday. I met his teachers today and checked out his room. The teachers were nice and were loving towards the little ones. I think he will like it plus it will be good for him to be around kids his own age. Now he's always the youngest so it just increases his rottenness! The thing I liked most is that his playground is right next to Logan's playground. So if they are outside at the same time they might even see each other. Logan will be excited about that and I'm sure it will make Lane feel good too. Well I'm off to bath these boys and get them in bed. I've got two movies to watch so I'm going to have a little me time before I go to bed. I'm really tired for some reason so I doubt I'll be watching both tonight. Hope you all had a great day!
