Roller Derby!

Yesterday, Friday, the boys went to school and I did a little running around. I am determined to find a cute white sun dress but that is next to impossible in this town. Maybe I will find something when we go down to Anchorage. When I got home I jumped off Aaron's car and then took it for a drive. Now it is working wonderfully and we have been driving it everywhere....at the request of Logan! I did get it cleaned out...not vacuumed and all that but I at least got all the trash out. I went into work at 2 and since they were not ready to start the meeting I did a microderm on myself. Now my skin feels renewed! We practiced giving IVs. I was so proud...the girl I did mine on told me she was a "minimum 3 sticks." I was ready for the challenge and got it on the first try! I was proud. After picking up the boys we headed home and enjoyed a lazy afternoon. Logan played outside with the neighbor kids and Lane ran around like a wild man in here. I stayed up way to late last night working a little project that I will show off tomorrow most likely. I just couldn't get to a stopping place so I paid for it this morning when the boys were up bright and early.

After breakfast we all threw some clothes on and headed off yard saling. We got lucky. I found a mini fridge for $30. Aaron has always said he would like to have one and we have priced them but never bought one. This one is almost brand new. They said their daughter took it to college for one year and that's all it's been used. So now it's out in the garage holding my mountain dew and water. After all our yard saling we were tired and come home for a nap. We made plans with my friend Mel and her kiddos to go to the Roller Derby that was being held for the first time in Fairbanks. The Fairbanks Rollergirls were holding their first "home" match. We had a lot of fun. The only bad part is that I missed 4 calls from Aaron. I didn't have good service though. Mel got an instant message from her hubby so she told him to pass a message along to Aaron. He said he did...so he better have. Mel has been out of town for a while and then just had a baby so it was the first time I have gotten to spend time with her in a while. We had a great time. We both joked that we should go audition at the tryouts they would be holding soon. Could you see me as a roller derby girl!!!! As much fun as it would probably be I don't think that God really made me to be a roller girl. Little me would be squashed by some of the girls that were out there. So here are a few pictures from tonight. Aaron I'm so sorry I missed your call. Just know that I love you and miss you so very much. Hope your having a great day!

He was eating popcorn and I bothered him for a picture!

This was a little odd...not exactly the outfit you see football refs in!
Mel took a picture for me...Logan wouldn't cooperate...Lane barely did...this was take 2!

He was cheering for the girls all night! He had fun.

Logan and Aidan being goofy and enjoying seeing each other!

Fairbanks Rollergirls...in the white

I had to bribe him for this picture!

Logan and Paige have always been sweet on each other! Her Daddy is always telling Logan to back off his little girl! Logan just laughs and laughs!

They were dancing!
