Meds anyone???

So this morning was back to the doctor for the boys. They were still coughing and had swollen eyes this morning so I made appointments. Of course the only appointments they could give me were in the middle of the day...11:15 and 11:30. So I took the boys to school and then picked them back up 3 hours later. At least the good part about this allergy thing is that they feel good and are not too whinny! Diagnosis....both have left ear infections...Lane's is the worse...both have sinus infections...and both need drops for their eyes. Geeeeezzzzz! Don't you just love how they like to be just a like! I walked out with 4...yes 4...bottles of antibiotics (2 per boy of course), 2 bottles of Zyrtec, 2 bottles of eye drops, Tylenol, and Motrin. Our own little pharmacy in a bag! I am so glad I took them in. I didn't suspect the ear infections at all. Neither have acted like their ears hurt. I was assured they were not contagious...and they felt fine and dandy...believe me I was completely exhausted after fighting them while we sat for an hour at the pharmacy! I took them out to lunch and then back to daycare. It was nap time so they both laid down and I headed back to work. We had a bunch of people out today so I was really glad that I went back. Only two assistants left taking patients and they were running their butts off. We managed to get finished around 5. I picked up the little ones and we headed home and cooked supper. We played outside for a little bit but before I knew it, it was time for bed. So now they are sleeping and I'm heading that way myself. Ready to start day two of this week. The countdown is underway and I'm looking sooooo forward to the end!!!!!! Love ya, Babe!
Oh, one last thing. I told you before about my Grandmother starting a new kind of chemo. Well this one is not being too nice to her. She has been feeling very under the weather and her arm has been hurting. She went to the doctor today because they informed her the pain in her arm was not normal. After doing some test they found a blood clot in her arm. She was put on Coumadin and some antibiotics. She is also taking another medication for the next week to help thin her blood out (can't remember the name of that one). So please say a special prayer for her. Her white blood count was low so hopefully she will bounce back and be ready for her next treatment next Monday. Thanks so much for all her prayers!
