Sunday

Nothing too much to write about tonight. We didn't do anything to exciting. The boys played for a little while over at Amy's and then we headed to the grocery store. Logan thought we needed every little debbie and powdered donut in the store! While I cooked dinner Logan played outside and then after dinner we all headed out. Finally the weather is nice. It rained again last night so hopefully those fires are put out. I guess not being able to go outside contributed to Logan behavior but it's still not an excuse to ignore your mother. I told Logan to come in over and over and he continued to ignore everything I said. Finally I just took Lane upstairs and started the bath. About 15 minutes later up comes Logan. So I grounded him. Maybe some people think I'm crazy for that but I think an hour of ignoring your mother deserves a pretty large punishment. So for the next two days Logan is grounded from going outside to play with his friends and he's grounded from the TV. We'll see how this works!

Mr. Lane proved to me today that he has learned the sign language for "more." I'm guessing they have taught him that at school. He's used it a little bit over the weekend but today when I asked him if he wanted more he put his little fingers together and said "mo." I'm soooo proud of him. I looked up a few other signs so that I could work on a few with him. One being milk and juice so I will know which one he wants. He's such a smart little boy.

Aaron called tonight. He's doing good just more than ready to be home. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. The days are moving just sometimes not as fast as we would like! We took a vote on the phone tonight about Daddy taking over bath time. (I'm putting it here so that we have record of it! LOL) Logan has always preferred Daddy giving baths. So I made the decision that my vote would count as two...I'm mean that's only fair since I'm the only girl in the house! So Logan's vote was of course for Daddy and Lane's vote was for Mommy. So on a vote of 3 (remember I count as 2 hehe!) to 2 Daddy will be taking over full time on bath duty!!! After a year of giving 3 baths a night, I'm more than ready to pass along the torch!!!! Love you babe, I'll leave a towel out for you dry yourself off...those boys are WILD!!!!
