I think this is the best weekend in a long while!

After Amy got finished with class we decided to head out for some dinner. Both of us were wanting something a little nicer than fast food and since our options in this town are VERY limited...off to Chili's we go! It was the usual experience of two adults and 4 kids. We were more than ready to get out of there when dinner was over. The boys were tired of sitting and the little ones were move than ready to get out of those highchairs. It still amazes me that when people live in a military town where they know soldiers are deployed that people still stare you down like your some horrible single mom when you are walking around with two kids and no dad in sight. We got some horrible stares on our way out...I've learned to ignore it...I know my situation and so does God...nothing else matters. But anyway...we braved Walmart after that. Neither of us ready to just go sit at the house. I don't think either of us NEEDED anything but what else is there to do in a freezing cold town. While we were walking down the toy isles Josh called Amy and my phone call from Aaron was right behind hers. We talked to them for a minute and then Aaron let me go so that I could get finished in Walmart and he promised to call in about an hour. Amy ended up buying a Wii. They only had one so I wasn't able to get one. I have been planning to buy one just haven't been in a hurry to do it. I have said I was going to get one for Aaron and I for our birthdays but that's a few months away. So I've just been checking prices and trying to find a good deal.

We came home a little after 9. The boys were tired but managed to stay up a lot longer than I thought they would. Aaron called back and we talked for a bit. He still hasn't gotten his V'day gift from me. Which is really irritating. I sent it forever ago. Hopefully it came today. I got a phone call at 9:00 this morning from a florist asking if I would be home to accept a delivery. Of course I said yes! So at 12:40 the door bell rang and there was a beautiful vase of flowers just for me from my amazing hubby of course. Yes, he is just about perfect! But don't tell him that :)!!!! What's really funny is that after the call this morning Logan was just as excited as I was. He asked me if he could have an orange flower. (Don't ask me where that came from.) So I told him that if there was an orange flower then it could be his. Well there was ONE orange flower in the bouquet. In fact it's one of the prettiest flowers. So as soon as he saw it he said, "My Daddy sent me an orange flower!" He was so excited. God really can do some amazing things...no matter how small.

This is "Logan's flower."

While I was waiting for my delivery I decided to check prices on the Wii. Aaron knows I've been wanting one and he was asking me why I was waiting. And now that Logan Joshua has a Wii of course Logan Jacob thinks he needs a Wii. So I figured I better get a move on. Well I knew I wanted the Wii Fit as well so I figured it would be cheaper to buy the bundle. So I start searching. For anyone who knows me they know I'm a huge bargain shopper who won't buy much of anything until I know where to get the best deal! I think this really irrates Aaron but I always end up saving us quite a bit of money! So this time I did not disappoint. I found a great deal! I bought the Wii console with the Wii Fit, along with a free Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum video all for about 70.00 less than the Wii Fit bundle at Walmart! I was so proud! Logan is so excited and ask me about every 10 minutes if the Wii is here. He just doesn't get that we have to wait a few days to get it. I'm thinking it should be here on Tuesday or Wednesday which is perfect because I probably won't have time to test it out until Thursday when I'm off work. I've got to start practicing so that I can beat Aaron when he gets here! I have a feeling there were will be a lot of Wii competitions even if it's just between me and Logan. I've already made a Wii date with the parents and my brother for when we move. I can't wait to see my mom try out the hoola-hoop game and I've already told Scotty he better be prepared to get a beating with the boxing game!!! I'm excited!!!!

Here is a full picture of my beautiful flowers! They make me smile every time I look at them!!!!!

I've been slacking on the blog lately. lol. I can't put my kindle down, now that it's fixed. You will love the wii. I love wii fit. I know what ya mean about the stares in public. My boys are wild and I have learned to ignore too. My sister told me she would not go out by herself if she were me, but like I told her, We can't stay at home all day. They are even more wild inside all day. So I feel you on that situation. I just pretend I'm in my own little world (I usually am anyway) Your flowers are beautiful!

Those flowers are gorgeous, and I was so happy when you said there was an orange flower for Logan! I haven't ever played a Wii, but I have heard how great they are! That will be so much fun for you guys! :) I am glad your weekend rocked!
