First I need to play catch up. Sunday morning Logan went to church with our neighbors. I feel bad that I didn't go with him. Call me horrible...but I didn't. Lane and I stayed home and I did some house cleaning. Logan ended up going to McDonald's after church so Lane and I headed to Fred Meyer's. They had their picture frames on sale so I picked up a few for the bedroom. I had an idea and I decided to test it out. Logan has brought home a few large paintings he has done at school and I wanted to frame them. So I did and hung them in mine and Aaron's bedroom. I also fixed up a picture of Aaron and I and one of the boys in a frame. It turned out great and made the room look so much better. Logan was so excited to see his artwork on the wall. It made him feel so good! My project was a success!!!
Yes I am choking Aaron in that picture. When we did our pictures we were trying to capture some of those "in the moment" poses. Well she told us to just be ourselves. Well anyone who is around Aaron and I knows that when we are ourselves we wrestle. So that's what we did. We tried some "romantic" ones but they just ended up looking dumb. But as crazy as these picture look...it's us and that's what makes it the perfect picture!
Logan says the blue/green one is an airplane and the pink one is me!

Logan says the blue/green one is an airplane and the pink one is me!Logan didn't come home until around 5:00. He was having fun at the neighbor's playing the Wii. We are going to have to get one of those. They are so much fun! We had dinner and were just lazy for a while before going to bed.
This morning was a little different than most. Logan's daycare was closed because of President's Day and Lane's sitter was sick. So my friend/coworker Angela's daughter came over to watch the boys. She has watched them once before but never at our house. But she did great. It was a long day at work so poor girl was stuck here way longer than she was probably expecting but the boys had a blast with her. Lane was all tuckered out and fell asleep in my arms around 7:15 and Logan is being lazy on the couch. It was nice getting up and not having to worry about dropping kids off. If only she didn't have school every other day!
Aaron just called. He had come in from a mission this morning (for us) and had slept and was getting ready to head back out. He is trying to get his R&R finalized. He is ready to take it now but I keep telling him to hold off simply because I want him to come home when the weather is nice. I want us to be able to go outside and enjoy doing stuff. We are also wanting to drive to Anchorage and I don't want to have to make the drive when the roads are bad. So maybe in May or early June. We will see. I'll be happy no matter when it is and I know we will have fun no matter what. But I just want to get past the halfway point that way I'm not saying goodbye for such a long time. We are almost at 5 months! Time is moving just sometimes not fast enough!

Well off to get everything ready for tomorrow. Nighty, night!
