Since now we have two doctors on Wednesday's we have all come to dread the day because we know we will be running around like chickens with our heads cut off. But when I got to work on Wednesday I found out that our doctor was sick. Poor guy, he's never sick. So the other "visiting" doctor took on the work load and others were rescheduled. It was a long day but ended up being a little easier than what I was expecting. I was able to take a little time to get my echocardiogram scheduled so I go for it on Tuesday. I'm ready to get this stuff over with. The boys had a good day. Both were in good moods and bouncing off the walls when I picked them up. We grabbed some dinner and then headed home. We all headed to bed pretty early.

Aaron called around 6:30 this morning. He was wanted to know the latest with me and just chat for a little bit. He was doing good. Just ready to get out of that place. Can't say that I blame him! The boys were up not long after I got off the phone with him. They are so funny in the morning. Lane definitely takes after his Daddy in being a morning person. As soon as he is up...everyone else has to be up. Logan is a little more like me...we are kind of whinny in the morning especially when we don't want to get up! But Lane doesn't care. After breakfast Logan got dressed for school. They were having their V'day celebration so he wanted to go. He had spiderman valentine cards for his friends. He was pretty excited about them. After taking him to school Lane and I went shopping. I have to dress up for work tomorrow so I needed some new dress pants and nice shoes. Lane got a little bored with the shopping and by the time we got home it was nap time for him. So I took one too! Afterwards we did a little more shopping. I didn't find shoes at the first place! I finally found me some shoes and found some really cute summer shoes for the boys. They now have matching "Mater" shoes. They are made out of the same material as crocs but they are shaped and colored like the Mater character in the movie Cars. Which is Logan's favorite movie. They are really cute shoes. Logan was painting when I picked him up. He had painted a few pictures and one was a picture of me! He had a little gift bag with Valentine cards from his friends and some candy from his teachers. He said he had a lot of fun today.

Tomorrow we have a conference to go to for work. Our office is going to have a booth there plus there is a big luncheon where they will talk about women's heart health. I think its going to be pretty interesting so I'm pretty excited about it. Plus I get to dress up...something I rarely have a chance to do anymore. I mean who wants to wear heels in snow. I'm sure to hit the ground at least once tomorrow! One reason why I'm looking forward to getting back to warmer weather...I can dress a little nicer. I'm tired of always wearing snow boots and warm shirts which tend to be baggy and in no way flattering. I want to be cute again! Hahaha!
