Well lets see, where did I leave off. Lane didn't get home til around 9:30 Friday night! Heather just loves him! He was so give out when he got home. Poor Logan was missing him. He kept asking me, "when is Lane coming home, I miss him!" I ended up watching The Duchess and then after the boys went to bed I watch My Best Friend's Girl. I love Kate Hudson. It had some crude parts but it was pretty good. I enjoyed The Duchess but Logan was still up when I was watching it and so he caused me to miss a few parts of it. He is so loud sometimes! I hope I get a chance to watch it again before I have to return it.
Aaron called around 6:30 Saturday morning. He's doing good. We are trying to figure out when to take his leave. I would love to see him now but we are not even half way through yet so I'm not ready for him to come home now. I think saying goodbye the second time will be easier if we know we are not saying goodbye for such a long time again. For his leave in his last deployment he came home 8 months in. It worked out good and I was super busy those last 4 months so they flew by. As far as we know it looks like leave will be around July so that mean that by the time I see him again it will have been 10 months since I've seen him. I miss him so much!
On Saturday I watched another movie while the boys played. It was called Ghost Town. It was kind of cute. I also caught up on a few shows I had recorded on the DVR. For some reason I have become a big fan of the Ghost Whisperer. And I had to watch Flashpoint of course! Logan had a birthday party to go to. Wyatt's 5th birthday was Saturday and his party was at the bowling alley. We had fun and bowled a few games. Cori had made another awesome cake. All the boys were loving it. It was the head and shoulders of Ben 10. Now Logan wants a Ben 10 cake!
After the party I finally took Logan for a haircut. He was getting pretty shaggy. Aaron had been riding my case cause he saw a picture of Logan and saw how long his hair was getting. I really didn't think it was THAT bad until after it was cut. He really did need a haircut. We then headed to the commissary for diapers and then home to be lazy.
This morning the boys let me sleep in a little. Logan was up at 8 but was happy watching cartoons while I dozed but then Lane was up at 8:30 and ready to go. We had breakfast and then more lazy time. I did manage to get the laundry going so at least I feel like I did something productive. I put in my last movie, Eagle Eye and got comfy while Lane took his nap. The movie was really good. I was pretty impressed. Lots of action...and no real love story Aaron! He hates love stories....MEN!!!! Amy called and asked if we wanted to come over. Of course Logan was up for that! We already had a Walmart trip planned so I said we would stop by after that. We headed to Walmart and picked up the things I had forgotten at the commissary. Don't you hate when you do that? You go in for something and it's the one thing you forget! We are doing a secret Valentine, kind of like what we did for our secret Santa at Christmas. We drew names and then we take that person a small gift everyday during the week and then on Friday at our Go Red event we will take a big gift for our secret Valentine. I got all my "Valentine's" gifts so I'm ready! Hopefully she likes them! Speaking of Valentine's, I got Aaron V'day present in the mail on Thursday. Hopefully he likes them. I'm sure he will like two of them but the other I'm not to sure about. I'm positive he's going to ask me why I got that one! I'll let you know what it is after he has gotten it! Anyway, back to today. After Walmart we went to Amy's for a couple of hours. They boys were fighting with each other and Logan shocked Logan Joshua right in the eye! It is going to be such a relief when Aaron and Josh come home on leave. Amy and I are sending our boys to them so that they can fight until their little hearts are content! On our way home we picked up Carl's Junior. I had been craving their taco salad! It really hit the spot especially since my stomach was feeling a lot better today. The boys then had baths and I did more laundry. Now Logan is watching some cartoons before bed and Lane has eaten about half a box of these Club Snack Sticks crackers we have. As soon as one is gone he's getting my attention for more! But it's about bed time so I've got to get these little ones tucked in. Nighty, Night!
