This Sunday was a much better day than the Sunday before! The boys and I went out to eat with Susan, Heather, and her kids. The kids all had fun together and as usual Lane was the entertainment of the day! Afterwards the boys and I took off camera shopping. I didn't find anything at the first two stores so we headed to the PX. I had looked there before and knew they had one that I liked. Well when I got there they had two I liked. One was a Canon and the other was a Nikon just like my mom's. I decided to get the Nikon because I know that my mom loves her and it was a little cheaper than the Canon. I tried to get a color that was different than mom's but of course they were out of those. I love my new camera. It takes really good pictures and has all the features that I wanted. Plus it's extremely light weight and with all the stuff I have to carry around everyday that's very important.
When we got home the neighbor guy was outside with his little boy Wyatt shoveling the driveway. Of course Logan wanted to help. So we came in and got him all bundled up and out he went. He even had me get Daddy's shovel out so he could do some work. He was out there for a while. My friend Susan came over to take a picture of me and boys for a project our FRG is working on for all the soldiers in Aaron troop. I managed to get Logan in to do the picture (actually he came in to use the bathroom and I cornered him!) but I had no cooperation from him when it came to smiling or even looking at the camera. When I finally did get Logan to look, with a grumpy face of course, Lane gave me his little grumpy face too. The best, and I do mean the best was a picture of Lane picking Logan's nose! But at least both boys are laughing! It will certainly make Aaron smile every time he looks at it!!!!
As soon as picture time was over Logan was back outside shoveling snow. Or at least that was the story he gave. I'm sure he spent more time PLAYING in the snow! But it was good for him and he had a blast. Certainly wore him out though! When he came in he was complaining of being cold so I sent him straight to the tub. Even though he had protested the bath he ended up being glad he took it. "Mom, my bath made me warm!" I got the boys in bed at a decent time but Lane was back up at 12:30. I put him in the bed with me but he was back in up again at 3:30 and he was ready to play. It felt like my alarm clock went off as soon as I got him back to sleep.
Work went pretty smoothly today. Not too many exciting things happening but it was steady and kept me busy. I had to leave around 3:45 cause Lane's sitter had made plans so I had to pick him up by 4. Afterward I got Logan and we all headed home. We had dinner and then played for a while. Mom had sent a box for the boys so they were excited to get it. There was a huge tub of animal crackers that both the boys were overwhelmed with. Lane would bite one cracker and then put it back in only to grab a new one. Of course Logan told on him and picked them out for me. We had to move the tub to stop Lane and then of course Lane had a big problem with that. Logan and I both got yelled out! Little stinker. Well tomorrow is going to be a busy day so I'm off to bed.
